Why Buy

Is This For You?

You’ll love this if you enjoy smooth, balanced coffees that are easy to drink and not overpowering. You might prefer something else if you enjoy very bold, dark, or highly acidic coffees.

Peru Chanchamayo

Peru Chanchamayo is a coffee shaped by a meeting of worlds — where the towering Andes begin to soften into the lush edge of the Amazon rainforest.

In the region of Chanchamayo, coffee grows in rich, fertile soils surrounded by dense greenery and mist-covered hills. The climate here is unique: warm, humid air from the जंगल meets cooler mountain conditions, allowing coffee cherries to develop slowly and evenly, building natural sweetness and balance.

Much of the coffee in this region is grown by smallholder farmers, often on family-run plots where traditional methods are still at the heart of production. Cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness and carefully washed and dried, preserving the clarity and character that defines Peruvian coffee.

In the cup, Chanchamayo is smooth and approachable, with notes of milk chocolate, soft caramel, and gentle citrus. It’s balanced, clean, and easy to enjoy — the kind of coffee that doesn’t overpower, but quietly delivers cup after cup.

There’s a calmness to this coffee. It reflects its surroundings — steady, natural, and unhurried. It’s not about intensity or extremes, but about harmony and drinkability.

At Acorns Coffee, Peru Chanchamayo is a perfect everyday coffee — reliable, comforting, and consistently satisfying. It’s the kind of coffee that fits effortlessly into your routine, and becomes part of it without you even noticing.

From Farm to Cup

Grown in the Province of Chanchamayo in central Peru, this coffee is shade-grown at altitude, allowing the cherries to mature more slowly. This slower development helps create greater sweetness, balance, and complexity in the final cup.

Carefully cultivated in fertile mountain conditions, Peru Chanchamayo reflects the calm, approachable nature of Peruvian speciality coffee.
