Why Buy

Guatemala Maya is your go-to comfort coffee—smooth, sweet, and effortlessly enjoyable. It delivers biscoff-like richness with soft caramel and gentle fruit depth, making it a dependable daily cup you’ll always come back to. Easy, balanced, and never complicated.

Is This For You?

You’ll love this if you enjoy smooth, chocolatey coffees with natural sweetness and low acidity. It’s ideal for everyday drinking, especially with milk or as a relaxed black coffee. You might prefer something else if you enjoy bright, citrus-driven or highly complex fruity coffees.

Guatemala Maya

Guatemala Maya is a coffee deeply connected to both land and legacy — grown in the highlands of Guatemala, where volcanic soil, high altitude, and rich cultural history come together to shape something truly distinctive.

This region has been influenced for centuries by the heritage of the Maya civilisation, one of the most advanced and enduring cultures of the Americas. While the ancient temples and cities now sit as quiet ruins across the landscape, the traditions of working with the land remain very much alive — especially in coffee production.

Coffee here is grown on small farms nestled between mountains and volcanic slopes, where cool nights and warm days allow the cherries to mature slowly. This extended ripening period builds natural sweetness and complexity, which is then carefully preserved through hand-picking and washed processing.

In the cup, Guatemala Maya is elegant and layered, with notes of biscoff-like spice, caramel sweetness, and soft fruit acidity. There’s a gentle richness to it, balanced by a clean structure that makes it incredibly versatile across brew methods.

At Acorns Coffee, this is one of those coffees that feels both familiar and intriguing — comforting in its balance, but with enough depth and character to keep you coming back.

It’s a coffee that reflects its origins: grounded in history, shaped by nature, and refined through careful craftsmanship.
