Exciting Future For Acorns Coffee & 350 Burger

*** EXCITING FUTURE FOR ACORNS COFFEE & CAKE AND 350 BURGER ***

Exciting company restructure at Rebels' Quarter gives Acorns Coffee & Cake, Acorns Rostery and the Pavilion at BOSC to Dayne Cartwright and Partner Tracey, whilst 350 Burger and three satellite units will leave Rebels' Quarter group and move forward under Andy Tree, Katrina and Stuart. .

Dayne Cartwright, ongoing director of Acorns Coffee & Cake & Pavillion @ BOSC, says

"Four years ago, in the middle of a snowy day, Tracey and I started Acorns Coffee from a little horsebox. It’s humbling to see how it has grown into something so loved, now even roasting its own coffee. We were lucky to have the financial support of Andy and input from Stuart when we grew the business and created Rebels’ Quarter and the brands such as 350 Burger. Looking ahead, we want to focus on Acorns as out passion and make sure we’re giving everything we run the attention it deserves.

We hope this will not only create a better experience for everyone but also help us with the time and energy needed to build and nurture the business at the BOSC to become a real heart of the community. I continue to wish Andy, Katrina and Stuart great success!"

Andy Tree, ongoing director, of 350 Group, including 350 Burger says:

"For anyone following the Rebels' Quarter business to-date, you will know I have been a 'silent partner' minority shareholder and non-executive director. I will need to be more hands-on now and am excited by the opportunity to try and make a positive difference. I have a main job with my accountancy business and spend a lot of time being a local councillor and so am grateful to Katrina, Stuart and our valued managers and staff for their support to make this a great employer of local people in our town and provide a service to our customers.

The top floor of the Shed is office space rented by SiGNAL. The downstairs has 16 units, some of which are currently vacant to-let. This change means our business will rent/manage four of those 16 units, including Stuff'd and the sweet shop.  It's a very tough business, especially supporting Judes Ice Cream in winter! However, we really do want this to be successful for the community and will work hard.

We wish Dayne and Tracey continued success with Acorns and BOSC! Most of all I want all local businesses across our town to thrive and Whitehill & Bordon to be successful!"
